Define a Student's Exception

When you mark any student as Exceptional, defining that student's exception(s) is as simple as selecting from a list of these Exceptionality Codes (or from your customized list) and specifying an effective date.

Generate Exceptional Children Reports

Four Reports on Exceptional Children are available from their own menu on the D-TRAK® main screen. They are:
  • An Exceptional Child's Student Discipline History
  • A Recap of All Exceptional Children's Discipline Incidents, Ordered by Date of Incident (and can be sorted by Grade)
  • A Recap of All Exceptional Children's Discipline Incidents, Ordered Alphabetically by Student
  • A Report of Exceptional Children's Suspensions, Ordered by Dates Assigned.

Be Alerted When An Exceptional Child Accumulates
More than Ten Out-of-School Suspension Days

Because certain steps must be taken if an Exceptional Child accumulates more than ten Out-of-School Suspension days, D-TRAK® automatically displays this Exceptional Child Suspension Alert whenever you post an Out-of-School Suspension for an Exceptional Child who has accumulated, with the current posting, more than 10-days of OS suspensions.

EC Suspension Alert

The Exceptional Child Suspension Alert poses several questions regarding additional criteria for the OS Suspension threshold. If the answer to any question is Yes, you should follow the three required steps outlined near the bottom of the screen. (You can quickly print the third requirement, a Student History, via the button provided right on the EC Suspension Alert screen.)
