Determine How Your Data Should Be Grouped & Review Your Selections
When you are returned to the Find Specific Discipline Information screen, a new field labeled Group By will be displayed below the Set Search Criteria button, and that field will be followed by a second button labeled Review Search Criteria.
You would select the category(ies) by which you want the resulting data grouped. For this demonstration, we selected Grade by clicking on the box beside it to insert a check mark.
Next, you'd click on the Review Search Criteria button to display a summary of the query, which is illustrated on the right half of the screen. The third button, labeled Execute Query, will also be displayed at this point.
For this demonstration, we wanted to find incidents that involved Seventh through Twelfth Grade Males who behaved aggressively and that were resolved by either In-School or Out-of-School Suspensions. And as we already mentioned, we wanted to group those incidents by Grade to see which grade level exhibited the most aggressive behavior. The criteria summary screen will include the way you chose to group your data as well as the categories of data that you selected.
Upon review, if you were not satisfied with your selections, you could click on the first button again. You'd be taken back through the search criteria screens, where you could make changes to your original selections.
Finally, you'd authorize the execution of your query..
Click on the Execute the Query button on the screen above to proceed. (Go to top.)
