Checking a Student In/Out for Daily Attendance

Select a Student

1. The student record locator screen, shown above, will be displayed when you open the Check Students In/Out application. You can search by Name (the default selection) or by student Number. (You'd click on the Number button if you preferred to search by that method.)

2. You'd enter the first few characters of a student's identifier -- in this example, the last name. A list of students whose identifiers begin with or follow in order the characters you entered will appear below your entry. The list will continue to adjust with each character you enter, seeking to match the identifier at the top of the list to the one that you're supplying.

3. As soon as you could see the subject student's identifier in the list, you'd click on it and select it.

Click on the name at the top of the listbox on the screen above -- 22222 Doe, John -- to proceed. (Return to the top of the screen.)
