"The administrators were handing over their Palms in the cafeteria because they were so excited about X-PORTTM.
They were very happy about it and started using it right away. One was taking his home tonight and completing "green slips"
at home so he doesn't have to stay late tonight or come in early tomorrow. Some teams do their own rotation of schedules,
so if the principal goes to the wrong hour, he/she can just look it up on the Palm®. When I do my SASIxp™ maintenance,
staff can still look up phone numbers for parent contact. Friday is Exploratory Day (students explore new activities,
skills, interests and community service). About 65% of the student population is on fieldtrips. Having that information
truly in the "palm of their hands" will be a great asset. We really like it! I'm hoping to demonstrate it at our district
technology meeting tomorrow. It's a truly terrific product.
